I am the General Manager of Community Futures South Fraser, an organization that works collaboratively with Chilliwack’s Economic Resource Network. Together with local partners our group has injected millions of dollars towards the long term growth of Chilliwack, helping make the city a great place to live and work.  

As your city councillor, I will bring a focus to helping attract, expand, and develop locally owned businesses. I know how quickly our city is growing, and I recognize both the challenges and opportunities this presents our municipality. Through Chilliwack Healthier Community, I have served task teams dedicated to Poverty Reduction, Food Security, Mental Health Awareness, and Transportation Innovations. I feel this kind of hands-on community work has equipped me with unique insight to the complexities of Chilliwack’s social issues and infrastructure needs.

I’ve spent my entire life calling Chilliwack home. I grew-up in a large family, working closely together with my siblings helping manage my parent’s dairy farm and retail store. My husband Brad and I have raised our own two daughters here, and we have owned and operated many local businesses. I love this city, and I believe in its strength of community to provide, support, and progress.
